It's day 20 of Horrordailies and I'm pretty much tapped out. After much screwing around and deleting things, I have come up with this, which seemed like a vaguely horror-ish background.
It's even less impressive at a small size. Oh well. Some results are just like that.
Foster Kitten Updates
Herbie Lovebug is returning to the shelter tomorrow for neuter & adoption. That means I need to take a graduation picture — except my usual picture spot is my bed, and the feral mom (Popcorn) and the babies are in there. I guess I'll throw the blue sheets around in the spare room and try to get a few pictures of Herbie without the other two in the frame.
The babies are doing well. I saw one climb onto the carrier where Popcorn was taking a break from them — poor mom can't get away.
Other Stuff
I think the outline for the next Penelope Standing book is ready to go. Sort of. I'm really bad at outlining before I write. Maybe it will all come to me during my run tonight.

Looks like a nice fall picture. Good colors. I don't outline at all. I write scenes, stitch them together, hope that the stitching inspires me to more scenes. Then I write more scenes and hope they go with the current book. Don't worry. They almost always do! LOL. I only rarely work on two different books at the same time. One or the other takes precedence. I do have two different novels fairly far along at the moment and an actual third that I really want to work on. Of course, I'm also working with Lori Barkin on audio for Null Witch. I have a chapter that needs proofreading. And then there's the audio for Ghost Town, which I narrated myself and it needs editing. WIth that many projects going, it's no wonder I'm going in circles and not making much progress!
I generally don't outline my SF/F books, but I've found that the cozy mysteries need an outline or I just wander all over the place, never solve a mystery, and then have to go back and add in enough stuff to call it a cozy mystery. I'm aiming to be a touch more efficient.
