Such a Square

Every day brings new challenges and a new chance to learn something. For example, today I managed to put the iPod Touch into some mode where it took about twenty pictures in one second. (There's also an accidental short video in which the audio consists of me swearing as I try to figure out how I got it into video mode.) In any case, this evening I learned how to delete nineteen of those photos. So it wasn't a total loss.

Today's star is a "square star". The directions were... not quite as good as I needed. That might just be because I am tired and having problems focusing my eyes, but I think the main problem is that I was trying to follow the instructions illustrated by a tiny photo wherein a little square is folded and both sides of the paper are pink. It took a few tries to figure out what they meant.

I'd probably have better luck taking these pictures if I wasn't trying to hold the iPod in one hand and the backlit star in the other. Maybe at some point I'll work on that...
